Same for me as I am also using LVM and nginx inside a docker container. I haven't continued my investigation, but I will need to move the container as I am running out of disk space. Have you had any success yet?
@bennetgallein, my issue seems to be exactly the same as yours. I have an LXC with Docker and in it quite a few containers that are running nginx (nextcloud, swag proxy, heimdall, ...). Now I'd like to move the disk of the container to a different drive, however, the rsync command (initiated...
The downgrade via apt install lxc-pve:amd64=4.0.3-1 solved the issue for me on two lxc containers. The one was running docker and the other was the openvpn turnkey container which was also affected. Thanks!
I think I found a possible reason and it is due to the fact that I am passing through 2 devices to the guest VM: the IGPU and the bluetooth module. The latter one (00:14:3) shares the same prefix of the address as the USB controller (00:14:0). As a consequence all USB devices are no longer...
The drivers were the ones that came with the Windows10 image I was using (Win10_20H2_v2_EnglishInternational_x64) and created according to the general HowTo. Maybe this image is newer than the one you were using and comes with the more recent drivers that get used automatically. I will try again...
Hello,
thanks for this very useful tool. I have attached a 1.5TB HDD via USB3. It gets recognized and I find it in /media/sdb1/ and create backups from my two lxc containers. However, I cannot create a backup of my VM on this external drive.
It is possible to copy, also big files, to...
So, I can get rid of the Code 43 error by removing addr=0x18 from the conf file. After that I can boot successfully, however, still not get any output from the HDMI. I tried this now also several times and can reproduce it reliably. With this setup, I need to note, I am able to access the VM via...
Thanks again for your reply.
I adjusted my config in the same way as you suggested:
- Edited the two lines in the grub config according to your example
- Removed the vfio.conf
- Applied update-grub and update-initramfs
- Adjusted the vm conf file (with the addr)
- Rebooted
- Started the Windows...
Thanks for your reply. That change alone still results in Code 43. So I suspect something else in my config differs from yours.
Here's my current vm config:
I have the same since yesterday already and noticed no difference
Looking forward to compare with your settings.
@Adrianos712, I got the very similar NUC 8I5BEK with Intel Iris 655 and I tried all possible ways to pass through the IGPU to a Windows 10 guest but couldn't make it work yet. I tried with OVMF and SeaBios but end up with the graphics card being recognized by the Windows guest system, however...
