Don’t install proxmox on a usb device. They will die rather quickly.

You may also check out https://github.com/francismunch/vmbuilder this one, it’s similar to yours but has a few more options. Both get the job done for the most part, but thought I would share in case you want to add more options to yours.

If you want to access a folder on the nas you would need to set it up as a smb share or NFS share and then connect to it from the VM.

If looking for a program like that maybe winscp? I usually only use a ssh client.
