Same here with endless boot circle on 2012/2016/2019 Servers. When i disconnect the network card, then i can boot them again. Also WIndows Update seems to stuck on all these VM´s.

These SSD´s are made for intensive read operations. Did you change your zfs cache settings? can you post also the zpool configuration, and zfs get all?

zfs sharesmb legt die Konfigs der Freigaben unter /var/lib/samba/usershare ab. Wenn man mit Samba umgehen kann, würde ich die Konfig komplett selber übernehmen.

In dem Fall würde ich eher gleich Proxmox installieren und PBS und Samba in getrennten VMs oder Containern betreiben.
