lvm restore failure

I have a two servers running Proxmox 1.7, they are not clusters and both have Intel processors. After transferring my lvm backup of Windows Standard Server 2008 to the second server it blue screens upon startup. To confirm that I didn't have a bad backup I restored the same backup...
