USB and Win Server 2016 VM

No, that wasn't the solution. Formated the disk and reinstalled Win Server 2016. After the first login plugged USB3 hd into USB3 port and server hangs. Get again error 153 in the event log. So it seems a problem with Windows Server 2016 and the USB3 implementation. Any further suggestions?

    Exclusive use of USB3 port

I use a HP DL380 Gen9 with Proxmox 4.1-1. I want to use an USB3 port exclusive for a VM. I now use the port with vendor ID and product ID. But this could lead to problems, when a USB device with the same vendor and product ID is put into another USB port. With USB2 it isn't a problem to do...

Solved the problem by changing the used card: with a Dialogic Diva BRI-2 PCIe there are no problems anymore. Works perfect with Proxmox and Tobit David.fx in Windows 2012R2.

[SOLVED] Problems with PCIe Passthrough (Timing?)

Good idea, but what should I change? I saw, that the card is using IRQ 16 and found some forum entries regarding this IRQ. Could this be the problem? Normally the answers suggest to disable all USB ports. This is in this case not possible.

[SOLVED] Problems with PCIe Passthrough (Timing?)

Hello, I use Proxmox 4.1 since the last month and it seems very good. Two Windows 2012R2 on a HP DL380 work correct and stable. I like it. But there is one problem. I want to use a Gerdes PrimuX 2S0 E ISDN card (lspci result: 08:00.0 ISDN controller [0204]: Lattice Semiconductor Corporation...
