Apologies I have caused the confusion here. After your initial message, I did a clean install using the IP address of .11 instead of .2 I am still unable to get to port 8006 although I can ping the machine and access it from my desktop via putty- neilcrew

Output attached, plus output from the IP config. As I said I can ping the IP address but trying to access the web console on port 8006 gives an error (ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE). The IP config mentions 192.168.8.255 which I didn't put into the setup and I have no idea where it has got that form because...- neilcrew
