Hello Exist a way to move file stored inside a VM disc to a folder in the datacenter?

Hello I know is a stupid question, but I have to ask it. I noticed that if I add the same datastore in 2 different datacenter and start a task on a datacenter, the other one is loosing the storage. Is a single datastorage usable only in a single datacenter or may I use the same datastore in dc1...
