    VM freezes irregularly

Hi, just wanted to add my experience. N5105 based system, OVMS/Home Assistant install crashing every 6-8 hours. SeaBIOS/Pfsense install not crashing. Update to the 6.2 Kernel and Microcode 0x24000023 has me at 3 days so far. No other changes.

    VM freezes irregularly

Ah... Thanks, I hope I will remember about it when I get the 8505. These miniPCs are rather interesting, the most headache I have are the N5105 4 port and N6005 6 port because of the VM crash / freeze / reboot. The N6005 6 port came with all options unlocked BIOS, the N5105 4 ports version 4...

    VM freezes irregularly

Sadly, your issue is not the same as this thread. For us, the VM is crashing / freezing / rebooting, not the Host. Yours is the opposite, where the host is crashing. Since your setup is passing memtest86, I would recommend testing with Prime95 and see if any worker threads fail. Another thing...

    Unexpected reboots every day

You can select the kernel in the GRUB menu during boot. Also, you could test with the latest 6.1 opt-in kernel for PVE, see https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/opt-in-linux-6-1-kernel-for-proxmox-ve-7-x-available.119483/

    Unexpected reboots every day

I did the mem tests, passed all of them 4 times without any errors, i have a mini pc, with an intel celeron N5105, during the mem test it hit a max of 80C degree but never shut down. If it reboots randomly when it is idle maybe it could be related to C states should i try to disable them...

Yeah, that's what I am planning to do. Seems simple enough and more trustworthy. Sparkies, gotta love 'em.

    VM freezes irregularly

...(might need a version of the intel-microcode package installed first) Only the 06-9c-00 file is needed for the N5105. Presumably this method will also work if any future microcode updates are issued by Intel without needing to wait for the package to be updated.

    LXC container failing to start(322、844、2027)

N5105 core display is directly connected to LXC for EMBY.Although the nuclear display is not effective, it has been running stable for half a year. I did not make any modifications on LXC and PVE. It was only a few days that I couldn't start it.

What are your thermals? Does your CPU frequency still scale up and down? Doesn't this completely disable CPU power management? What is the output of these two commands: cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_driver cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpuidle/current_driver
