Code 43 on an 650 Ti, even with every option set right

...which generated loads of DPC latency for me. This lagged the whole VM including the mouse pointer and messed with audio output (crackling, stutter, skips) Regarding q35 and pcie=1 - I have not experienced any problems with these options so far, and I believe (haven't compared though) it...

    [SOLVED] ZFS Performance Tuning

...0 l2arc_write_boost 134217728 l2arc_write_max 67108864 One of my containers is a media server, and I am looking to avoid content stutter during heavy pool load. These tunables worked very well in that regard when my pool was in FreeNAS. On a side note: I currently have two pools on my...

    Windows 2012 R2 RDP slowness

...the CPU goest at 70%, video is still fluent but with two sessions or heavytest running in background eatich all CPU power, video start to stutter. It seems not a bandwidth problem. Loosk like emulated GPU rendering is the bottleneck. The same installation on a vmware host with the same...

    Soundcard PCIe Passthrough stuttering

...(audio files) from a remote network share towards the second local disk (vm-115-disk-1.raw). On that case the audio stream itself starts to stutter. Not the encoded audio but the audio generated by the music player. Assigning more memory or more cpu doesn't seem to have a positive effect, it...

    Migrate VM's to Ceph storage

Thats exactly how Ceph performs with very very small number of OSDs. Even doubling the number of OSDs to 6, 2 OSDs per node with Replica 2 will speed things up somewhat. There are ways to config Ceph further so that VMs does not slow down. But in your case unless your needs are going to grow...

    Migrate VM's to Ceph storage

...it just doesn't perform as well as my ZFS NAS. Everything runs sluggish, and when I took a node offline to simulate recovery, the VM's would stutter and pause (timeout's shown in guest's dmesg). But even though it was slow, the recovery worked without a hitch and no data was ever lost...

    qmrestore error using lzo compression

Tried again to restore the same vm from a fresh backup to a new vm. I noticed the entire system starting to stutter (literally see pictures). The first picture was a 30-40 minutes into the restore. Then about 10 minutes later the stuttering got worse, connecting to vm consoles was...

New 2.6.32 Kernel for Proxmox VE 1.9 stable

Updated to 2.6.32-7 from 2.6.32-4, and I'm seeing stutter/buffer/high-io-wait from my Areca 1160 I wasn't seeing before. I'm going to revert to 2.6.32-6 (since it looks like the "use ARECA RAID card driver from upstream kernel" change went in -7) and see if the problem goes away.

Permanent VNC Server for KVM machines ?

...solution myself. I find that my Windows virtual machines, when accessed via the java applet through the website suffer from an occasional stutter on my Vista x64 (now Windows 7) workstation. If I kick off a one-time VNC session, and access via RealVNC, I don't get that same stutter/pausing...

pveperf results with Samsung SSD (MMCRE64G5MXP-0VB)

...for the price, I am seeing 105 - 160MB/s writes and 190-230MB/s reads. I don't have it available any longer to plug into a machine where I can use Proxmox VE's pveperf on it, though, sorry. It doesn't seem to "stutter" and stop responding occasionally like many other SSDs do after some use.
