@LnxBil bcache has been integrated in the kernel for a long time. Does the PVE kernel have no further customizations beyond the Ubuntu LTS maintained kernels?

The proxmox kernel (unified for all producs) is based on the Ubuntu LTS kernel so when bcache will be integrated in the Ubuntu LTS kernel, it'll be also available in PVE.

Main issue is VM caching mode,which i never use in default value "none".Some scenarios are limited by hw\budget\etc.I would use officially supported btrfs, but didn't find yet proper instructions how to add ssd caching in raid1 with bcache for existing btrfs raid1 of pair hdd.

L2ARC does not perform that well as any other cache layer like bcache or flashcache, so you have to try. I tried it once and it wasn't that good. Put more RAM in the machine, it'll help MUCH, MUCH more.
