Ist 192.168.1.1 tatsächlich die IP-Adresse Deines Routers? Kannst Du den anpingen (ping 192.168.1.1)? Und kannst Du IP-Adressen "draußen" anpingen, zum Beispiel ping 1.1.1.1? Und kannst Du Namen draußen erreichen (ping www.debian.org)?
