Hi, i use StarWind V2V Converter to convert VMware or Hyper-V Images to Raw. It is a free application for Windows. Then i create a new VM on an filesystem based storage, replace the disk with the converted one and migrate the disk to the final storage (zfs/lvm/...). Hope this helps.

Hi, afaik this is a known issues with ovmf and virtio. We really need a solution for this. I dont know if this is a proxmox or a general uefi firmware issue. Second issues with omvf, you can't power down a vm in the gui (force poweroff), only way is to kill the qemu process.

I use Zimbra OSE with Ubuntu 14.04 in lxc and it works great. I had lots of trouble with CentOS. Not only in Zimbra, but other things like Apache, NGiNX, Seafile. I thinks best choice for lxc is Debian or Ubuntu.
