Sure you can. Shutdown VM. Add Virtio-Block device. Start VM. Install drivers. Shutdown VM. Delete added Virtio-Block. Detach SCSI-device. Attach HDD with Virtio-Block as storage. Change boot priority in options. Start VM.

I also got this issue on an 2016 terminalserver. I got rid of it not using virtio-scsi but virtio-block. So for now it is fixed at least for me. btw. I´m using virtio drivers 0.1.173.6

I did it with FreeBSD by tagging one Virtio NIC with many VLANs. But you can also do it with Linux or even Windows.

use vlan in the vm...i use many vlans on a pfsense vm but define the vlans in the vm not on the proxmox side

yes but you have to copy the conf-files also...and I had to insert my malware patrol api code again

I updated clamav-unofficial from git and copy the new config files and adding my changes again.

Thanks..but only for the first start...removing postfix and backup and restore as unprivileged...afterwards...so it is running fine now unprivileged and secure
