just a quick update...no more oos after 30 days of uptime with heavy writes and cache mode none on all vms...i think i found a good trick on my setup...do a sync and flush the page cache once a day (in the morning)

do you mean how long until the oos occurs? about 50 days. for now i have to reboot my cluster every month. after reboot the oos will be resynced (about 1,5gb per drbd ressource). after reboot it changes from inconsistent to uptodate. but i need a solution without rebooting and bringing...

with kernel 3.10.0-8-pve the Dell OMSA Storage didn´t get recognised.
with kernel 3.10.0-7-pve it worked.
What can I do ?

Hi all,
I also still have some OOS Probs after booting one of the proxmox hosts...I also switched back to default(no cache)...but with writethrough these probs where there. Now I have the latest updates with kernel 3.10-8 and pve-qemu-2.2...perhaps this is the cure :)

I think it is simple...activate Force Write Back on your Raid Controller / Raid Volume (Bios)...and you should be fine. You should also consider NOT to use RAID5 for Virtualisation just RAID10 brings the IO-Performance.

I have also still the same problem. Mostly with slower Storage (near-line-sas). And I have the 3.10 kernel. In my case I´m trying now to switch to writethrough and lower the al-extents on the slower storage because after the split-brain thereis alot of resync to do. The strange thing is, on the...
I´m using drbd 8.4 for years now and it is stable. The only thing I had to do since drbd 8.4 is included in kernel 3.10 is, I had to downgrade my drbd8-tools fro 8.4.4 to 8.4.3
