    Scheduled VM-snapshots from GUI

I ran into that too. Will have a close look. No need to reinvent the wheel if I don't need too. :)

    Scheduled VM-snapshots from GUI

Vzdump failed du to too little space left

Hello all! I seem to be running into the same error as the user in this thread: https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/backup-failed-vma_queue_write-write-error-broken-pipe.26232/ User jct never wrote anything about how to move the backup location. In my case it'd seem the backups are saved in...

[SOLVED] Running three web server guests on private network, one public IP

Gotcha'. Thanks for taking the time to explain! I'll keep the servers as is for now. I'm going to lab some more with reverse proxying and containers, as using a vm for that single task seems so wasteful. You wouldn't happen to know a reverse proxy docker-solution using HAproxy by any chance?

[SOLVED] Running three web server guests on private network, one public IP

Not sure I follow here. The web servers with the homepage and cloud had ssl-certs from before and I left them as is. On the nginx proxy manager I addedd ssl-certs as well for the hosts I proxy as I couldn't reach them otherwise without the web browsers complaining that no secure connection...

[SOLVED] Running three web server guests on private network, one public IP

I do believe I saw a guide using this with a Proxmox container flash past me while I researched docker proxy managers. I'll see if I can find it again. In the meantime, this is the pretty project guide page for jc12's ngninx proxy manager: https://nginxproxymanager.com/setup/

[SOLVED] Running three web server guests on private network, one public IP

Took almost a year but I now have a working solution. Since I wandered into docker a while ago, it was just a question of time until I discovered this thing: https://github.com/jc21/nginx-proxy-manager Long story short, making this work with my already present SSL:ed web services was a...

PVE 4.3 Console Access on Different Cluster Member

Doh! Of course it does... I'll go stand in a corner for a while. I'll see what I can do about this. Thanks for pointing and reminding me in the right direction!

PVE 4.3 Console Access on Different Cluster Member

In /root/.bashrc I uncommented these: export LS_OPTIONS='--color=auto' eval "`dircolors`" alias ls='ls $LS_OPTIONS' alias ll='ls $LS_OPTIONS -al' alias rm='rm -i' Otherwise it's untouched. I found the below command to test the, as I understood it, the batchmode connection vnc uses, in a...

PVE 4.3 Console Access on Different Cluster Member

Hmm... Weird. I'm experiencing the same problem where I can't connect to a console on another cluster node. As for rest of you I can ssh from the terminal just fine, and I have these ssh-settings already set by default after install. /etc/ssh/ssh_config: Sendenv LANG LC_* /etc/ssh/sshd_config...

Slow network transfers on guest OS

I just noticed that uploads to the proxmox guest is still maxed out at about 100 Mbps. Running ethtool -k ens18 on the guest, I then noticed the below, which I gather means that checksum offloads aren't disabled when receiving, right? So what now? Is there a way to disable rx-checksumming as...

[SOLVED] Running three web server guests on private network, one public IP

Hi all! Since March I've done some major overhaul and tried to fix stuff and learn more abut reverse proxying. I've come so far as having my Joomla site up SSL:ed and all on proxmox. All calls on ports 80 and 443 from the internet are port forwarded in the router to a vm running Joomla. This...

Slow network transfers on guest OS

Did some measuring with iperf. I know GUI transfers are slower, but the speeds as measured in a terminal with not too much overhead etc aren't that great either. Guest 4 cores, 1 GB RAM ================= root@nfs:~ # iperf -c 192.168.100 -d...

Slow network transfers on guest OS

I'm seeing the same thing. I have a nfs-server as a guest. It initially started out with the default virtio network card, 1 cpu core and 1 GB RAM. My LAN is 1 GBps all the way from router, over switches and to the guests. With this setup I get about 150 Mbps from my HP Z440 workstation running...
