Hi Kimmy, there is nothing wrong with making the hosts accessable via a vm on the host itself. I do this myself. But you should always have a backup method of connecting in case the vm fails, which in my case is IPMI via vpn from a vm outside my cluster. Kind regards

Can confirm this. Installing the scsi driver worked but the vm wont boot up (bluescreen). Its working for two 2016 standards and not for two 2016 essentials. Kind regards

Personally i never had an issue using it with bsd,linux or windows. Just keep an eye on the memory usage from the hostsystem.
