altered caps and copied the client.cfs keyring to /etc/ceph/ceph.client.cfs.keyring and I can write to mount. no sure whether it was the new caps or having the keyring on the clients that solved this, anyway set these caps in cluster and keyring file on clients:
[client.cfs]
key =...
figured it out :)
created a new client entity on 2. cluster named it: client.cfs like this:
Will try to change mount of 1. cluster to not use fuse but kernel ceph module...
Also need to get right capabilities as I can't write properly on the mount...
We've got two external ceph clusters both working fine with pve5.2 for RBDs.
From 1. cluster we mounted a CephFS using it to store vzdumps,
but we also would like to mount a CephFS from the 2. cluster.
1. cluster is found in /etc/ceph/ceph.conf + ceph.client.admin.keyring
2. cluster is...
Oh, are you asking of the specific chip set...
Testlab servers are older HPE DL380G5 w/bonding of 3x1Gbs (1x onboard, 2 x pci add-on).
Production are bonding of 2x10Gbs in HPE DL360 gen9.
Yes it's a storage NW, also seeing the same issue on our production cluster configured similar though on different HW.
But this testlab is a 'pretty idle' and the retrans are occurring constantly, got both rings set at netmtu 1500 even the ring0 bonded NIC is at mtu 9000:
Retrans are seen...
Wondering if anyone ever figured this out?
We're also seeing TOTEM retrans but only on a jumbo framed ring of two rings not on our public default 1500 mtu NW.

Got a testlab with two cluster networks, a private 3x1Gbs bonded and a public 100Mbs:
I just want to make sure live migration always happens across ring0 network, thus I've assigned unqualified host names in /etc/hosts to ring0 NW:
only live mig. don't pick the ring0 (privat) network now but...
No... but thought that I already installed ceph-fuse, properly Jewel version before I alter to Luminous repo, anyway thanks for pointing out, it fixed the issue:)
