Hello
I have an issue with my Proxmox Backup Server. When I boot the PBS normally, the ZFS status shows "Suspended". However, if I boot the PBS in recovery mode and then proceed with "CTRL D," everything works fine, and the ZFS is online. What could be causing this?
This is the current...
I started Proxmox in Recovery Mode and now they are resilvering the pool show online! I hope it will work, and this is caused because I wanted a point to point connection? Very special
Okey, I tried with zpool clear and I saw almost all Drives online again, but afterwards it turned back to same state.
Is there anyway to safe the data out? Now when I restart the Server it's stuck and this position:
What can I do now? I have some important Backups there
Big problem now, it seems it destroyed the whole ZFS RAID:
All Disks are connected, but now the ZFS pool show that some disk are removed???
What happened?
Hi
I tried to configure a point to point connection with a 10G Fiber between PVE Host and PBS.
PBS IP: 10.10.10.2/24
PVE Host IP: 10.10.10.1/24
Adding the PBS to PVE Host worked without problems, but if I want to get the Backup then it comes to high I/O delay on the PBS.
Any suggestions...
Thank you guys
I will delete the datastore folder and start from scratch with a new datastore.
- And the quotas are a good idea, in the future I will set it up like this
I got it resolved, there are two subnet for my backup-server and I took the wrong subnet. So the whole traffic went over our pfsense Firewall. :D
My bad, thanks anyways for your time!
Best regards,
Marko

Hi,
I have installed the latest proxmox version 8.0, unfortunately the backup doesn't work. After 5% NFS or SMB cannot respond. This means that the VM is completely busy and Proxmox VE has no connection to the NFS or Samba/Cifs backup.
I did all Upgades on Proxmox but it didn't help.

Hi Fiona
Thank you for the fast answer!
I think we will try to copy the data to a new VM outside and yes you are right with the VE Version. :)
Best regards,
Marko
Hi guys
Unfortunately, I've been having a problem for some time and don't really know what to do next. It seems that the qcow2 disk is defective, a Windows Server 2012 R2 is running on this VM and is used as a domain controller.I don't dare upgrade the system because I don't know whether it...
After I replaced a Disk in failed state, the Pool didn't resilver the Pool like it should. After a restart, the Proxmox Backup Server can't import the pool by him self.
I tried with "zpool import Proxmox-Backup01" and it comes the output: invalid exchange (attached)
With "zpool import...
