I have routing problem. No one of my VM and CT can go out after the latest upgrade.
root@bluehub-prox02:~# pveversion -v

You have to go in datacenter (not on the node) and select "STORAGE", the select what it will host.
Pay attentiom, for thin LVM things changed.. they can host only LXC or VM disks. no template or backups.. it uses LV.
you can do the same, not with a compressed raw (.gz) but with a raw.
upload your raw into your storage (be sure how you configured the storage, to host images) the add it in the VM config
I have the same problem after migration offline from another node..
root@pippo-prox02:/var/log# lxc-start -n 109 -F -lDEBUG -o lxc-109.log

Good morning,
I cannot destry a CT. I receive message:
"TASK ERROR: lvremove 'vmdata/vm-111-disk-1' error: Logical volume vmdata/vm-111-disk-1 contains a filesystem in use."
Even from console:
lvremove -f /dev/vmdata/vm-111-disk-1
Logical volume vmdata/vm-111-disk-1 contains a filesystem...
OK..
you mean by creating a new LV then do a dd from raw to new /dev/pve/newLV and change the conf? /etc/pve/lxc/812.conf
everything to be done with lxc off, right?
Hi Wolfstang,
I am using latest version but for LXC is not possible.

Is there a way to convert a raw virtual disk into a Logiacl Volume in a ThinLVM storage without passing throght a backup and restore into a different storage?
Thank you
ex:
from storge: local
/var/lib/vz/images/991/vm-991-disk-1.raw
to storage local-lvm:

Do not force to join to cluster!
It will erase all the config on the node you are going to add!
Create the cluster on node with running VMs. then join the one node empty, else.. you are going to power of all VM running and lost all of them!
you could restore them and restore fresh data from...
Thank you a lot Tom.
Will the feature to move a Container disk be available also?
It should be really useful to do it, for example to move from 1 storage to another one without to backup it and restore somewhere else.
Thank you
Wow.. I have to investigate.. I ave those repos:
deb http://ftp.it.debian.org/debian jessie main contrib
# security updates
deb http://security.debian.org jessie/updates main contrib
# Controller LSI Mega RAIS SAS
deb http://hwraid.le-vert.net/debian wheezy main

It is totally random.
2 times on 3 boot in initramfs
then I installed 4.4.19-1-pve
and it boots in the right way now. I want to do some tests before to say it vanished..
There is a way to export disk of a powered on VM.
- backup the VM (snapshot mode), no compression.
- go under right dir: cd /mnt/pve/backup
- extract the dump: vma extract vzdump-qemu-720-2016_09_14-11_22_20.vma target-dir
then you will get the raw disk and do whatever you want.
