Promox 6.2 ACME DNS Digital Ocean - Seems Broken?

Something may be goofed up on my cluster then because when I click help while inside the DNS Plugin Box I get directed here https://cloud1.example.com:8006/pve-docs/chapter-sysadmin.html#sysadmin_certs_acme_plugins and it only talks about HTTP validation not DNS validation. Missing that line on...

I was looking at the built in documentation initially and missed that looking online.

Promox 6.2 ACME DNS Digital Ocean - Seems Broken?

That was it, I missed that looking over the new documentation and couldn't figure out exactly what it wanted in the box.

Promox 6.2 ACME DNS Digital Ocean - Seems Broken?

Trying out the new DNS Challenge and the UI appears to be missing something. For some of the plugins you get vendor specific fields to fill out but if you pick "dgon" all you get is a box called "API Data:" with no details on how your supposed to fill it out. So far I've tried just putting my...

    Additional CPU Flags for OPNSense

I also tried putting the file at /etc/pve/cpu-models.conf based on the mailing list but it didn't make a difference. The list of valid CPUs seems to be hard coded.

    Additional CPU Flags for OPNSense

    I can't seem to get that to work. I rebooted after adding the file. I'm running pve-manager/6.1-8/806edfe1 (running kernel: 5.3.18-3-pve) root@cloudctl1:~# cat /etc/pve/virtual-guest/cpu-models.conf cpu-model: cpu1 flags +aes;+sse4.1 reported-model host root@cloudctl1:~# qm set 100...

    Additional CPU Flags for OPNSense

I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to add the CPU flags sse4_1 and sse4_2 when your using the default kvm64 cpu type? OPNSense complains about the lack of SSE4_1 when I enable the AES flag. If I pick the host cpu type AES works correctly but for some reason OPNSense routing performance is...

Ubuntu 20.04 Focal Fossa - KVM - QEMU Kernel Panic

Yeah that's it. Found some other forum posts with others complaining about the memory usage. You can still download the legacy installers at http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-legacy-server/releases/20.04/release/ which don't run the live image.

Default Firewall Ports and Documentation Bug?

I see what I did wrong now, I'm accessing the box over a VPN and while it's landing me behind the same firewall the VPN is on a different subnet. When I had tried running in "iptables -L" earlier I was getting no results back but I must have done it before I turned on the firewall. Thanks

Default Firewall Ports and Documentation Bug?

The documentation at https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Firewall seems to indicate that "If you enable the firewall, traffic to all hosts is blocked by default. Only exceptions is WebGUI(8006) and ssh(22) from your local network." ports 8006 and 22 are allowed by default when enabling the firewall. On...

[SOLVED] Choosing a 2 Disk ZFS Raid1 During Install Only Uses One Disk

Turns out my dyslexia is kicking in. I read that zpool status as being /dev/sda3 the whole way down. Sorry.

[SOLVED] Choosing a 2 Disk ZFS Raid1 During Install Only Uses One Disk

I created a test VM using VMWare Fusion 11.5 with VM Passthrough Enabled and two 20 GB disks. Despite choosing RAID1 and /dev/sda and /dev/sdb during installation my zpool only has /dev/sda. According to https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/ZFS_on_Linux#_bootloader raid1 zfs for boot should be supported...
