HI,
Can you try to create a single namespace on the two nvme.
I never saw nvme without namespace in use.
The normal path of a nvme is /dev/nvme<X>n<Y>
I could imagine that is the reason why the device is set in power save mode.
For the Vlan vdev you need "ifupdown2"
But be sure that Proxmox VE repositories are working correctly.
Because if they don't work you get the Debian 'ifupdown2' package and this is not compatible with our setup.
apt update && apt install ifupdown2
And here are the correct interfaces

Hi,
If you like to use CI you could use --cicustom and create custom images.
there you could use the module https://cloudinit.readthedocs.io/en/latest/topics/modules.html#scripts-per-boot
I personally would use the start hook scripts with qemu-guest-agent (qm exec <vmid> -- ip route ....)...
Hi,
Why do you use OVS?
Rstp is not necessary if you use one nic on the bridge?
Anyway, Linux bridge can provide RSTP with ifupdown2.
The openVswitch packages are not maintained by Proxmox.
Hi,
IOWAIT can also be high if a reader is slow.
e.g. copy a file from a slow disk to a fast disk. The reader on the slow disk will increase the IOWAIT, but there is no problems with this system and all work normal as exspected.
Hi,
it is generally no good Idea to use two NICs for all networks.
VLAN is not a dedicated network.
And this does not protect you from latency problems.
If you have HA enabled you need a dedicated corosync network.
Hi,
Kannst du mal bitte deine Aktuelle VM Config schicken.
Hi,
Hi,
What do you benchmark? What fio parameter do you use?
keep in mind that ZFS works different from ext4 so not all benchmarks are comparable.
To be serious there are not many nvme what is capable to reach over 350K IOPS.
