Tried Debian install - that has the same problems.

I was wondering about this - I would have preferred just sticking with the proxmox distribution, but I'll give this a go as an alternative and see if it boots.

Secure boot is off, the BIOS doesn't have a legacy mode. I've tried everything I can find in the BIOS with no luck. Won't boot off sd card, tried that. As I say, it doesn't seem to have any problem booting other os installers.

Just tested a popular commercial hypervisor install iso via USB, boots no problem. It does appear that the proxmox iso is, well, a bit picky. Any suggestions appreciated as I really wanted to use proxmox!!

All very interesting. I'm going to go back to Xen for the time being as I'm not sure if the kernel patch required for the IGD was accepted, and I don't really want to run on patched code. Perhaps in a month or so the patch might have been accepted. Thanks for all the information and help...

Just had a quick chance to test. The VM starts but windows doesn't boot. Optim - have you made other settings to the proxmox install? Module parameters or grub params? Work now, do probably not much chance to try again for a while...
