Uff, so It was good idea NOT to recreate storage ....
I am watching this:
https://tracker.ceph.com/issues/61582?next_issue_id=61581
And I seems that nobody cares ...
I suppose that combination LXC + CEPH has no many "users" .....
I also had big troubles with LXC and nfs mount under...
Hi, I have exact the same problem. After 3 months I do not see any progress here: https://tracker.ceph.com/issues/61582?next_issue_id=61581
So I suppose this issue is not solved, Am I right ?
Thanks for the reply. :)
PS: I have empty cephfs on my pool. but I am scared to delete it.
Hi all, we have many PVE servers. Recently I have upgraded all of them to latest PVE 7.2.4, 7.2.5 among with the latest kernel 5.15.
All the servers have Xeon(R) Silver 41XX processors, and we have NO issue with VM destroy mentioned here. Servers are mostly Supermicro or HP.
But we also have...
Pinning kernel:
proxmox-boot-tool kernel pin 5.13.19-6-pve
Did not force the kernel 5.13.19-6-pve to be booted first .. So check, If you REALY run this kernel after reboot ...
Yes: " is to keep a close eye on them" this is exactly what i do NOT want to do :). Because if more admins take care about the pool, they always must have on their minds: I must count what is full provisioned, when I want to make a new VM, or expand the disk for a some VM.
And when after login...
To BeDazzler: Sorry man, I was using Citrix xenserver for the years and this is definitely Citrix error. Their VM drivers are the pain in the ass and has this issue over the hypervisors world. KVM drivers (virtio) are clean and simple and works at least :-) So it is hard to solve problem here...

Because right now I can see only used space in the storage window, but not ALL provisioned ...
And when, thin provisioning is used by default on the CEPH and ZFS storage, admin can be confused and storage can by...
This bug does not exist anymore, if your system is up-to-date ... So my questions are: Do you have:
1. /etc/hosts - correct values on all hosts ?
2. all hosts are up-to-date ?
UPDATE:
I have just solved the problem with adding all servers in cluster to /etc/hosts on the new node and after I was able to add new node to cluster by hostname:
pvecm add hostname-no-ip-of-some-working-node
Hi, I have thew same problem. Two nodes in cluster last enterprise update and third can not be added via cli. Adding via GUI breaks cluster ...
Any idea ? Is this SAFE ?
pvecm add x.x.x.4 --use_ssh 1
 Excellent :)
I am migrating right now few servers Win2008R2 and Win2012 from Xenserver 7.1 to VMware. Same issue with the drivers, but always able to solve point 5. with IDE, but If IDE will not help, try SATA :) Thanks BeDazzler, for: I will never give up !
Oki. I remember a similar problem, once ...
I was not able to migrate Windows 7 VM, same error like you. Now I can't remember what exactly was partition table in original VM, but I remember, that I have suspected, tak there is something wrong / differect with booting of the original VM, so after...
