I thought the installer updated the whole thing after setup 8-/
Updating right now.
A couple minutes later: it's updated, show 0.9-1-Beta but still "Loading..."
Hi.
Same here, running 0.9-0-BETA since this afternoon.
Setup went well, first pool backup went well too.
I was able to browse the "Content" something like 20 minutes ago, from PBS GUI, now it's "Loading...".
Then I went to PVE GUI and "Storage View" to browse it from here (to check if I...
pve-snapbackup does a Proxmox snapshot then backs it up with benji.
Thus you can you the usual qemu-guest-agent inside the VM to flush the database before the snapshot.
With a "direct" Ceph snapshot, I don't know.
ZFS array presented over NFS is exactly my idea. Over a 10 Gbps network.
60 minutes to backup all of this looks like a dream.
I'll do some tests with a VM on the cluster then move it to a dedicated node if needed.
How do you handle the snapshots?
Are you using the Ceph snapshotting feature (not...
Joining the discussion with questions.
Are you using benji "by itself" or are you using pve-snapbackup wrapper?
Where/how did you install benji?
One of your Proxmox/Ceph cluster? All of them? One dedicated node? As a docker container in a dedicated VM?
Thank you.
Beside "automatic migration" when server goes down/restarts (orchestrated by HA service), is there a way to migrate several VM at the same time?
Might sound like a stupid question 8-)
On a setup with several nodes, we move the VMs from the node being upgraded to another one and so on.
Do we have to stop/start each VM so it can benefit of the new QEMU and everything new or is moving them around enough?
Hello.
Brand new here, did a bit of research on the forum before asking but want to double check before doing something bad 8-)
I've setup a brand new cluster of 5 servers.
Each server has two E5-2697 v3, 256GB of RAM, eight 2TB Hynix SSD as OSD and a pair of 80GB SSD for boot.
It also has six...
