thanks for the answer :)
have a. Nice day
Thanks ! working right now :)
This is strangre because qemu VM can be backed up, so for LXC vzdump is not using the same process ? or at least the same user ?
thanks for your help DIetmar but it is not working, i did what you said :
root /home/admin # ls -lah /mnt/pve/NFS_Backup/
total 37K
drwxrwsrwx 3 root users 3 févr. 24 16:56 .
drwxr-xr-x 4 root root 4,0K juil. 30 18:38 ..

Hello !
I've juste installed pve 4 on top of a jessie with the pvetest repo, pve4 seems to be working pretty nice for a beta :) but i have problem with LXC back up
see that :
INFO: starting first sync /proc/1070/root/ to /mnt/pve/NFS_Backup/dump/vzdump-lxc-101-2015_08_02-17_34_50.tmp

amazing ! that's really good news for everybody i guess :)thanks for the answer :)so i can store my lxc CT on a directory right now and when lvm will be available a will be able to migrate or move ?
I have some questions too :)
-LXC will be compatible with storage plugin => so ceph, lvm, zfs are OK to store LXC CT ?
- will it be possible to convert a CT to template, or to clone it ?
-will we be able to make linked clone with a CT ?
thanks bu advance for answers :)
proxmox dot that for you, when you create a lvm storage he knows that he can only put raw image... if you try to create VM and select this storage for the vm disk i will be locked to raw ;)
Hello
That is normal because lvm can only store raw vm disk images... So not vzdump backup file...
You can manually create a lvm on your USB disk, then format it, then add it as a directory to pve...
I am still searching what the problem with that SSL error
I tried that :
root /etc/pve # update-ca-certificates --fresh
Clearing symlinks in /etc/ssl/certs...done.
Updating certificates in /etc/ssl/certs... 171 added, 0 removed; done.
Running hooks in /etc/ca-certificates/update.d....done...
thanks for the answer :)
there is no more cluster right now, the two server are in two different place and are not working together anymore
i did not make a new fresh cluster config, just a standalone config...
I did what i wrote and backup the file after the "cleaning", all is working fine on the two nodes :)
The only thing you have to rebuild "by hand" in the Web UI is the vzdump backup task ...
But on ONE node i have a problem now, the console is not working and i've got the following in my logs ...
OK so I back up etc/pve/storage
And etc/pve/qemu-server
On both node
Then I remove both node from cluster with my "method"
Then reboot
Then put back the file in etc/pve
That's right?
Thanks for the answer :)
This is simple as that?!
Both node will be "clean" with juste these two command?
Nodes can be power up in the same subnet after that?
Hi proxmox forum,
I have always found good help here so i am asking again :)
I have a cluster with two nodes, qorum set to 1, tag "two nodes" in cluster.conf, etc... working like a charm ! :D
proxmox and proxmox2 are my two nodes, but proxmox2 have to move to my school, so i have to...
thanks for you help guys !
according to you Setting up a VM machine as a firewall is OK, i will give a try to pfsense AND shorewall this week :) i will choose virtio NIC to test :)
have a nice day !
