I thought that the first port would not show up in OSes on the system...i.e in my previous Ubuntu Server install on that system...guess not..- VE5LPL

I went and changed in /etc/network/interfaces benign linked to eth0 to eth1, now rebooting...- VE5LPL

I think I figured it out, so opps port 1 showed up (I never plug anything into it anyway) and vmbr0 is linked to the first port...I know what I need to do...- VE5LPL

Yes, but I thought proxmox might be having some issues with the drivers so I removed it for one install...
