Well, you can pin the old Kernel and update the rest to keep your perfomance where you expect it to be... even our 8.2.2 PVE does run fine with an very old Kernel.... Linux 5.13.19-6-pve (Tue, 29 Mar 2022 15:59:50 +0200) People may cry now that this is unsafe or whatever.... but while waiting...

I made a ticket @proxmox and asked for "permanent" implementation option....

So for my understanding, you edit "/usr/share/perl5/PVE/Storage/RDBPlugin.pm" and add these lines? # added this option variable as proof of concept my @options = ( '--options' , 'rxbounce', ); What has to be done after edit? Reboot nodes? Anything else?

This issue happens often when KRBD is enabled and PBS-Backup-Jobs run towards a fast PBS. So I believe this is a more "often" issue than most people think and should be filed as "bug"...

Well beside the manual watching or dumping the memory at the right moment, I guess while entering the key, it is displayed with "*" and not seen on screen.... However, if he is a friend... why should he do? Because he can? Then he is no friend....

Look in the latest virtio-ISO... if there are is still a driver folder for 2012(R2) Guest-Agent from that ISO should also do....

When you add external drive, it might resort boot-order.... There should be a setting in your BIOS to disable this.... it is for good reason that this happens when you add an USB-Drive which has a boot block.....

Do they never boot? Have you waited an hour or so if it ever continues the boot?

Looks good so far... testing on a 3 Node Cluster with 88 VMs and 25 CTs currently..... looks promising... balancing by CPU-Load would be nice, but I saw in GitHub, you are on it....
