If I understood it correctly, you migrated your physical Windows 2003 to ESXi, and then imported it with qm importdisk in PVE, right?
Could you provide more information on the hardware configuration of the physical host / ESXi guest? A video could also be helpful, but a text (even translated...
Hi!
Could you provide further information on the running kernel version (uname -r) and package versions (pveversion -v)? What workload was running on the PVE node while this RCU stall was detected?
I'm not quite sure if I understand this sentence correctly. Do you mean that /dev/sda1 was mounted at /storage recursively? How are those mountpoints set up (e.g. cat /etc/fstab and cat /proc/mounts)?
Welcome to the Proxmox forum, Gledson!
This forum is English-only, as it's the most common language for our users, so that more people can answer your question and benefit from the answers and solutions. Thank you for your understanding!
As for the failed installation problem: Have you...
One way to find which SSH public key is the one from the old node would be to check every node's id_rsa.pub and see which of the entries in the authorized_keys does not belong to any node.
It seems like that the certificates are still setup for the old node. I'm assuming that you've moved all your VM configs to other PVE nodes already, is there still a directory for the old node (/etc/pve/nodes/prox-vgpu-002)? If so, you can delete it and also the old node's entry in...
Hello mgformula!
Have you already found a solution to your problem? If not, can you still ssh into the reinstalled node from the other nodes? What is the output of pvecm on any cluster node? Could you post the full error message that you receive when re-adding the node to the cluster?
Welcome to the Proxmox forum, Gareth Blades!
The sudden drop in performance in the Ubuntu VM seems indeed quite odd. Could you post the full Ubuntu VM config (with qm config <vmid>) and information about how the storage of the VM is setup (e.g. output of cat /etc/pve/storage.cfg)? I'm assuming...
Also there are two other things that I have noticed:
Do you do any kinds of snapshots or backups on that VM? If so, what is the backup target? It could very well be, that the database gets corrupted because of the way that backups are done. You could try to enable fleecing images [0] to counter...
Okay, so to recap, the Nagios XI VM is running on a Ceph pool and its name suggests that it runs on SSDs. How did you setup your Ceph and how many nodes does it have (e.g. post the output of cat /etc/pve/ceph.conf and ceph -s) and on what hardware is it running exactly? It could very well be...
Thank you for posting the answer to the problem!
I wouldn't have guessed that, but I have to admit that I haven't touched Windows 2003 in a while... I'm guessing that you have a Windows 2003 Standard Edition and they seem to be limited to 4GB memory (which should be around ~3.7 GiB) as stated...
Hello milocheri!
When a Windows license is activated, it is activated for a specific hardware configuration. That is very likely to change during a VM migration between different hypervisors (Hyper-V to Proxmox). I'd like you to create a new thread for this (if you haven't already) as the...
If you haven't stumbled upon this before, there actually is a command line utility called pvesh [0], as mentioned correctly by OP in #3, where you can access the PVE API directly as if it was a REST API, but without using curl or similar tools.

The stop error code here (0x000000A5) seems to indicate that there is an error with the BIOS. I've also just seen that the VM is configured with the CPU type "host". Could you try to change the CPU type for example to "qemu64"/"kvm64" and check if the BSOD persists?
Could you describe the following:
How did you migrate the VM from ESXi 8.0 to PVE?
Which PVE version are you running (pveversion -v | grep '\(proxmox-ve\|pve-manager\|qemu\)')?
The output of the VM configuration (cat /etc/qemu-server/4446.conf)?
What is the configuration on the original ESXi VM?

I'm sorry, I have misunderstood your question. You're right, it seems that it currently is not possible to create a Realm Sync job via any CLI tool as it is only exposed to the REST API. If you wish to have this feature included in a future PVE version, you're always encouraged to submit a...
I haven't seen snumbd before, but a quick Google search tells me that is a kernel module developed for the Acronis Cyber Cloud, which is probably used to backup or manage the TrueNAS. Please correct me if I have wrong assumptions here.
It seems like that the snumbd daemon wants access to the...
I'm not entirely sure if I understood what you're confused about exactly, but if it is about the usage of the disks the screenshots seem alright to me.
A common pitfall is that it isn't always exactly obvious that on standard installations with ext4 filesystems, the LVM volume group pve is...
