Tom mentioned above, that ploop will not change anything with HA for CTs:
> True HA for CT will IMHO first be available when we see plop support. not sure about what you talk here.

Why I cannot setup CLVM+general FS like EXT4 for CTs just as KVM works?
When I setup KVM HA I don't install virtual OS on shared FS like GFS. All work fine with CLVM and usual EXT4 on top.
Why i can't configure CT HA with SAN back-end and I have to use NFS? I have fast and reliable FC-SAN infrastructure and NFS doesn't look like good choiсe.
I also tried local backup - all works fine. In conjunction with SMB backup process freezed at 94% and IO operation dropped to minimum with lzop process in the memory.
Try to google smb mount options and check them out.
I had experienced this problem, when i used windows server 2012 as backup server with smb protocol.
When i switched to NFS service on my windows server, the problem with stucking goes away.
I experienced same problem with both local and LVM shared storage during backup to remote NFS-server. It could seem oddly, but I fixed this issue by adding "vm.swappiness = 0" to /etc/sysctl.conf
OpenVZ containers don't support modprobbing kernel modules inside them. You installed samba and cifs kernel module in the host system and now, you should log in to the container and try to mount smb share. it's enough.
On your proxmox server run aptitude, choose tasks-servers-file server and install samba package. All should work. If don't, run sudo modprobe cifs on your proxmox server.
How many memory did you allocate for VM?
I'm using Ubiquiti Unifi controller too, but not under Windows. Openvz appliance had troubles with jre, but Debian under KVM works fine for this task.
Re-hello to everyone!
I red this topic few times with attention: http://forum.proxmox.com/archive/index.php/t-8592.html and also RH doc's about quorum. And now, I want to know what I should do to restore normal proxmox functionality. Can I able reconfigure garbage cluster configs with...
