As for solution? You can install zfs-dkms on Proxmox, just have to carefully navigate the versions (make sure the ZFS tools are also from the same version as zfs-dkms). zfs-dkms supports QAT if you set the environment...
Your main problem is going to be that Proxmox VE 6 is not just Debian 10, it is a newer kernel than normal Debian 10.
In fact, I do not know how you got 4.15 on Proxmox VE 6 as 4.15 is used on Proxmox VE 5.4.
If you have 5.4, that is indeed Debian 9 so it might work, possible. Still a way newer...
