I am getting a error all the time I want to restart my node.
First I get the "A stop job is running for Monitoring of LVM2 mirrors..." and after a time it gets stuck at a watchdog error and I have to manually shutdown the node.
It only happens when I have connected shared storage over iSCSI...
So I set everything up with the vendor settings.
I still have a message that is shown in the kvm of the node.
device-mapper: multipath: blk_get_request() returned -12 - requeuing
Where is this coming from and what can I do?
Regarding multipathing what are the recommended settings for Dell EQ storage?
I only found a very old whitepaper from Dell.
https://linux.dell.com/files/whitepapers/iSCSI_Multipathing_in_Ubuntu_Server.pdf
It is working now.
But for my understanding how is the best practice to handle this in a ha cluster with 3 nodes.
Do I add this iscsi target now also to the two other nodes?
pvdisplay
--- Physical volume ---
PV Name /dev/mapper/proxmox-test
VG Name proxmox-test
PV Size 100.00 GiB / not usable 0
Allocatable yes
PE Size 4.00 MiB
Total PE 25601
Free PE 25601...
everything worked so far, but I can not add the lvm with help of the GUI.
I have three nodes in the cluster do I need to add the iscsi target first to all nodes?
Hey,
I connected my iSCSI target to the node with multipath.
But I don't get it how can I give the storage now to proxmox to use it for virtual machines ?
