    microcode didn't help - got the page fault a few hours later just as before. I should mention that this is a node in a cluster of 3 in case that is relevant.

    I found https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/high-iowait-on-a-zfs-pool.75065/ which had a similar error and mentioned that installing intel-microcode could help. I checked that my device has the most up-to-date BIOS and installed the latest microcode. If there are other suggestions I'd love to hear...

    I have been experiencing issues with one of the nodes in my cluster recently where I am unable to create, snapshot, backup, or restore VMs or CTs. The only "fix" is to hard reboot the node. All the VMs and CTs come back online and operations work fine for a while but eventually everything hangs...

    [SOLVED] VM freezes when disconnecting USB Keyboard and Mouse.

    This definitely doesn't seem to be a fluke on my system. I think we may still be waiting for Proxmox to confirm this is an issue and that an investigation or fix is planned or in the works.
