had a SBS 2011 server crash over the weekend as usual. (when else do they crash?:rolleyes:) booted a live ubuntu cd to copy some data off the drive and used the disk utility to check the qemu drive and it displayed that the drive was faulty. now i am not sure if i should restore...

i did a 1.9 to 2.0 in place upgrade yesterday and everything was fine. shut down server and booted this morning with a grub error 15. boot from proxmox cd and boot using pveboot command. system starts and then fails at fsck error code 8

ok having fun now! would it be a good idea to use the raid 6 for my drive images and then back up to the raid 1? do i use these instructions http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Storage_Model#LVM_Groups_with_Local_Backing to convert the raid 6 into a lvm or should i just partition it as ext 4
i am unable to install proxmox onto a raid6. i know that 1.9 does not support large drives and would like to know how to over come this? i have tried partitioning the drive before hand but proxomox does not see the smaller partition.
