I have a windows VM on half the cores, seems to work pretty well running a DCS server. I have other vms running on the other cores so nothing is really getting parked since they are all loaded. Keeping workloads separate looks like it...
Apart from normal virtualisation overhead, if you just allocate 3d cores then it will perform like a 7800x3d or thereabouts. I am setting up a server on a 7950x3d today, I could benchmark some things if you wanted.

I have a proxmox cluster with 9 nodes all running ceph, about 22tb of raw storage. There is one main pool using 99% of the space. In the storage page for pool in proxmox it says its using 39%, but in the ceph page it says 29%. Is there any reason for this difference?
