Thanks for all the help Stoiko. I got my hands on a dedicated 1 Gbit "dumb" switch for Corosync traffic and I moved all corosync traffic to its own adapter over the weekend. Guess we'll see what happens in about a week.
Thank you. I will try installing these new patches on the servers when I'm at their location later today.
By pvetest do you mean the non-enterprise repository? Or is there a third repo that I'm not aware of?
I thought so too, seems oddly specific.
My switch is a Ubiquiti EdgeSwitch-10XP...
Thanks for the quick reply.
Here's the output from Node A:
And here's the output from Node B:
Node A is on an older kernel. (Because I haven't been able to reboot it, since it's the only working cluster node atm)
But otherwise the output seems to be identical. I update my servers regularly...
I've been having this really weird issue where one of my Proxmox nodes will fail a week after the cluster is fixed, and I've really been struggling to troubleshoot the issue. Especially since it takes a week to see if any solution actually worked.
My cluster has been in a loop where every week...
I got my servers on Friday and set up the cluster over the weekend. Used a Raspberry Pi as a Quorum device.
The cluster has been running fine over the weekend while I configured a few VMs and I've tested shutting down servers multiple times. HA works like a charm.
Thanks n1nj4888
Yeah I read them and it looks perfect.
The servers I bought are still in transit, but hopefully I'll have them tomorrow. I'll try this setup once they arrive and see if I can get it working. Thanks for the info
This looks like exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. So there's just a standard debian package to install and then point your Proxmox servers at it using pvecm? That sounds quite simple.
How long have you been running a setup like this?
My setup isn't exactly production, it's more like...
Hi,
I recently scored a good deal on two used Fujitsu TX100 S3p servers. I seem to remember Proxmox supporting the use of a quorum disk to replace the third required node in a cluster so I wanted to set these two servers up as a HA Proxmox cluster with external iSCSI storage.
However the...
Turns out I was an idiot and just didn't read the wiki page well enough. I needed to edit /etc/pve/corosync.conf after starting pmxcfs in local mode, not /etc/corosync/corosync.conf.
Sorry for wasting the time of anyone who read this thread.
Hi, I screwed up when creating a cluster with an existing node. Now I can't figure out how to fix it.
Earlier this week I set up my first Proxmox node, it's been running fine with 5 VMs ever since.
I just got the second node today, and was therefore going to set up a cluster. So I followed...
