Hey, so there's been some progress here, changed /etc/default/grub with the parameters GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash pcie_port_pm=off pcie_aspm.policy=performance"
Then execute proxmox-boot-tool refresh && reboot and where I normally straight away had console output of NIC's going up...
What I did was set the IPMI port to dedicated, not failover or shared, even then it won't work.
Now trying the drivers from intels website and/or kernel downgrade.
Same issue here with 3x supermicro server, all the 2x onboard I210's are flakey and drop at random or on load.
I'm using a dedicated IPMI port (onboard, also I210) different from the 2x I210's on each server and each I210 port has issues.
No fix yet, if I get one, I'll post here.
I've found that in my cluster I needed to update these and others; etc/hosts /etc/hostname /etc/postfix/main.cf /etc/pve/corosync.conf /etc/pve/storage.cfg /etc/pve/user.cfg /etc/pve/ceph.conf /etc/pve/priv/known_hosts /etc/pve/ha/groups.cfg
Please read through the entire post before you...
What i like to do is install SSHFS, I need my plex VM to access the media files stored on my HDD pool, much like your setup.
Prior to that I had plex running in a docker container on my proxmox host, that solves the issue with volume mounts. But I needed HW transcoding which was a pain to setup...
Hello all,
I've searched the forum and found similar qmp command failed errors but these had mostly to do with replication or backups.
I have an Ubuntu 20 guest VM on my Poweredge T630 (along with 5 other VMs) and it has an Nvidia Quadro passed through. This worked perfectly up until today...
Thank you for the quick feedback. I've ordered a Broadcom 10gb Nic which just works on my second host.
Though i've tried nearly everything i could not get the card to work on the second machine but it worked on the first one.
I'll put the spare Qlogic in my first host i guess and setup LACP.
Same issue here, weird thing is i have 2 nodes where one of them can properly use the qlcnic drivers and the other cant, with identical cards.
Same version of pve-firmware: 3.2-2
Not working one on the 5.4.106-1-pve kernel and the working one on 5.4.103-1-pve
Shows up on my 5.4.103-1-pve node...
