I am passing 2 x NVME to my guest. One is a samsung and it works fine. The other m.2 I have just added is WD/Sandisk and cannot make it work. It is not recognised by the guest.
Tested and working well when booting a live distro on bare metal.
Is there something I am missing?

I am sure this is simple, but I cannot figure it out for the life of me..
I enabled my onboard wi-fi in bios and find myself unable to connect to internet from the host now... I can however still connect from VM guests.
Disabling wi-fi shifts eno2 to eno1 but still no connection to router...
Intel graphics is enabled in BIOS.
I am not sure I can disable IOMMU with my BIOS? Can you explain further please?
My motherboard is gigabyte aorus z390 ultra
As above in my kernel commands, I enable iommu in order to do GPU passthrough of my AMD Vega 64

sorry for the double posting. i think the spam filter deleted my post and then a staff member reinstated? not sure.
this ended up being fixed by forcing a new zpool.cache, so i guess it was a "corrupted" cache as some people suggest?

i ran apt upgrade -y this morning. since then my system is all broken.
my zfs storage does not mount on boot and when i do mount it with zfs mount tank, my subvol's are empty. if i do for example tank/subvol-103-disk-0 then my data appears correctly.
I found this thread which offered the...
if i mount with zfs mount tank it mounts fine, but it is not mounting on boot and I can find no reference to this in syslog.
I have found other threads from some time ago with similar issues, but things seem to have changed with proxmox. see this thread for some previous solutions...
I changed the machine to i440fx and removed the pcie=on and everything works fine, so this is something to do with q35.
there are plenty of threads talking about changes in proxmox 6/qemu4 and that adding args kernel_irqchip=on and machine pc-q35-3.1 helped. in my case it did not.
I don't have any advice, but I am facing a similar issue. My thread is here: https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/gpu-passthrough-prevents-reboot-of-ubuntu-vm.64076/
I was using Windows VM for playback of youtube and plex, but there were performance issues with dropped frames and out of sync audio. As a test, I switched to Ubuntu 19.10 and performance is perfect. I was able to reboot the windows VM without issue.
With ubuntu, after a cold start of the...
for comparison, i created an ubuntu vm without virtually the same config. pci passthrough, etc.
performance is as expected. no dropped frames or out of sync audio.
I have a windows VM that is used for playback of youtube and plex and it drops frames and audio gets out of sync. I would like to resolve this if I can. I am wondering if there is a tweak, or a driver for windows that is necessary?
VM is stored on an a ssd. AMD RX580 GPU is pci passthrough...
