I have in the same machine Samsung 970 Evo Plus 500gb m.2 ssd. After about a year it got 3% wearout. I think this will be enough for this use case. On the other hand, same machine, same use case, Samsung QVO ssd, wearout at 40%.

Thanks for reply. I will try with crucial one, it is TLC. I don+t have the option to plug in U.2/U.3. I know that it is not as good as real enterprise disks, but it will be enough for this use case.
