Yep - i know it would work...just wondered why the driver thought it was off but it was enabled in the Bios. Im in the office today so ill do that when i get home tonight.

Just to add to this (as ive still not got it working) - when the lspci command is used (and it displays the hardware plugged in) is this a hard connection to the hardware.... (just trying to work out why windows sees the card) - and the bios does as well, and Proxmox doesnt.?

Which is the command (when configuring the gpu passthrough) that passes the intel card through...?

Ok. After a full blown windows test with another disc the card is definately working. I did find the bar setting and enabled but (in windows) the intel driver said its not enabled but it definately is. Ive done a fresh install of proxmox and updated. I will say im still confused on the...

Yeah - i definately dont see the card (what youve got there) -ill take it apart tonight and double check. Just out of curiosity is there an up to date how to of how to add the onboard card....(or is that not possible)?
