Proxmox 9.2.10 error when I do Upgrade on PVE Updates

I get the following error when I try to do an Upgrade on PVE Updates (schould do Upgrade from 9.2.10 to 9.2.11)

That's trying to pull software from experimental??? (Or is this possibly pve-test? I am not using that one anywhere...)

Please check your repository sources. There is no zfs-linux in "Debian Trixie" / "stable"...

not quite - the output comes from listing the entry in the `debian/NEWS` file from the Debian Upstream zfs-linux source package:

Without checking the debian policy documentation on that - I think the entries there are added when a change first appears in the package - so this just says that the initial version of ZFS in upstream debian that was usrmerged was initially in experimental (and that change made it to the stable repositories with trixie)

the package that displays this comes from the debian repos, not any proxmox repo - see the thread @Impact linked for why this got pulled in now (boils down to Debian 13 still having ZFS 2.3.x, while Proxmox VE 9 (based on debian 13) has ZFS 2.4 - and the package libzpool6linux was replaced by libzpool7linux in ZFS 2.4.

apt policy zfs-linux might be of interest.

`zfs-linux` is the name of the source-package - from that many binary-packages are built - `apt policy zfsutils-linux`, `apt policy zfs-zed` would work
(or for the package that was installed from upstream debian `apt policy libzpool6linux`)
