Error with upgrading from Proxmox 8 to 9

Hello Support,

I was trying to upgrade my server from Proxmox 8 to 9, I wipe the server dell Power edge r730, but the installation keeps hanging at "waiting for /dev to be fully populated"
then the server reboots again. But I install Proxmox 8 back , I don't get any error nor the server hanging. Kindly assist

Thanks LnxBil, I have Proxmox 8 installed on my Dell Power edge server r730, I wiped it to install Proxmox 9, when it boots from the usb it hangs at "waiting for /dev to be fully populated" and doesn't progress again.

But when I tried installing Proxmox 8 back it works fine without any error. That's exactly what I did
