AWS recently announced support for nested virtualization in EC2. This opens up the possibility to run Proxmox on cheaper EC2 instance types (prior to this, only bare metal EC2 instances would work).
However it's obviously not possible to use the official installer ISO, so you need to follow the Debian instructions, which is less fun.
To make this easier, is there any appetite to provide an official Proxmox AMI?
