Hello,
I have a very big problem, it’s literally been a week that I’ve been trying to install proxmox 9.1 on my HP SFF, impossible. I always have a different problem... I tried to modify the HDD / SDD, I changed the RAM, etc...
I have arrived at a point where the installation is going smoothly, but when it comes to making the system bootable problem, it causes an error and makes it impossible to install...
And what can someone help me? Thank you.

Hello, the error arrives at the end of the download in the action "make system bootable"
For the installation support, I used a bit of everything, but in this one, I use a DVD with the proxmox ISO to burn on it.

I am having the same issue with 9.1 install on an intel mini PC. Installation seems to run fine until the end when status is "make device bootable" and the error "Unable to install intiramfs" pops up. The console shows the following:
Code:
sync: error syncing '/boot/initrd.img-6.17.2-1-pve': Input/output error

I have tried to download the ISO twice, checked the hashes and they both matched the posted hash. Tried it with a Ventoy USB and then again on a separate USB with Rufus. Also tried on a second identical machine. No luck.

EDIT: 8.4 install worked without an issue
