I can't connect to the proxmox interface. I'm certain its a networking issue on my part but I'm lost as to how to resolve it. Theres probably issues with what ive set as DHCP and the ip. I cant ping it in cmd, getting lost packets

IP set to 192.168.2.3
DHCP set to 10.10.0.1

Not new to IT but new to networking

IPv4 is 192.168.1.100
default gateway is 192.168.1.253

Lan connection from router to dumb switch then to separate switch which has the prox node and a test laptop [to ensure lan connection] if that makes sense

I have 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.20 free for static IP's

Tried same settings bar 192.168.1.3 as the IP with the same result

For context, eventual plan is to get six set up as a cluster but initial goal is to get one live

I had the same result, in the end it was DHCP that was playing me about
Two things can be causing issues for you at the same time. Happy that you solved it. You can help to keep the forum tidy by marking this thread as SOLVED. To do so - edit the first post and select solved from the drop down menu next to the subject.

Cheers
