Using PBS namespaces with an older version of Proxmox VE (PVE)

Hello,

I have an environment with Proxmox VE (server) and Proxmox Backup Server.
I recently created namespaces on my PBS (version 3.8.4), while my Proxmox VE is running version 6.3.6.

Before creating the namespaces and moving the backups into them, all backups were visible in the Proxmox VE interface.
However, after moving the backups into a namespace, they no longer appear in PVE.

Does anyone know how to make Proxmox VE display backups that are stored inside a PBS namespace?

Thank you in advance for any information or help.

On a Proxmox VE 6.3-6 environment, this is an older version that does not support the concept of PBS namespaces for virtual machines.

Proxmox VE does not support namespaces. See the image below

Hey,

PVE 6 is EOL already for quite a while. The default namespace is root, so your PVE node will see/use PBS as if it has / specified as the namespace.

Yes, exactly, that’s what I observed as well.
I tried to look into it, but an upgrade of Proxmox VE is required.
Anyway, thanks friends for the help!
