Ist dieses evcc-Linux-Image unter Proxmox installierbar ?

Hallo,
kann ich dieses evcc image in Proxmox auf meinem Windows11 Mini-PC installieren?

Es ist eine .img-Datei, aber in Proxmox sehe ich nur .iso bei VM zur Auswahl.

Gibt es da trotzdem eine Möglichkeit?

Falls nein, wäre es dann alternativ möglich, das Cockpit im vorhandenen Ubuntu mit evcc dazu zu installieren und dadurch die evcc Updates zu machen, so wie es bei der Imageinstallation ist?

Diese Images sind für SD-Karten gedacht und werden drauf-geflashed (meist mit DD).
Außerdem sind diese für ARM Prozessoren, sprich Raspis gedacht.
Steht alles in deiner selbst verlinkten Anleitung - in deutsch - sollte man vielleicht auch vorher mal lesen!!!!!!

Wenn du "evcc" unter Proxmox einsetzen möchtest, dann als VM oder Container - aber dazu mal Tante Google anstossen - da findet sich sicher auch eine passende Anleitung für und auch ein Forum/Community für evcc Spezifische Fragen.

Deswegen hatte ich es als Laie ja auch gewagt, die Frage zu stellen, ob es trotzdem eine Möglichkeit gibt.

Das kommt daher, dass ständig Leute mit ARM Images um die Ecke kommen und die auf x86 Architektur laufen lassen wollen. Man sollte sich wenigstens soweit mit der Materie befassen, dass man das Thema etwas versteht. ARM ist eine komplett andere Prozessorarchitektur mit anderen Befehlssätzen. Daher gibt es Software extra für ARM und nicht so viel wie für x86. Notfalls mal Wikipedia befragen.

Deswegen hatte ich es als Laie ja auch gewagt, die Frage zu stellen, ob es trotzdem eine Möglichkeit gibt.

Ein anderer Grund könnte sein, dass du ja schon mal wegen evcc einen Thread gestartet hast und am Ende auch ein laufendes System hattest ( Thread 'Problem bei Installation vom evcc-Script' https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/problem-bei-installation-vom-evcc-script.174421/ ).
Ich verstehe nicht, warum du dann ein anderes Image installieren willst.
Fragen zu evcc selbst sind eh eher ein Fall fürs evcc-Forum

Ich habe den halbe Tag überlegt ob ich dazu was schreiben soll..

Also, ich habe das heute mittag anhand der Anleitung (link oben) unter Debian 13 mal "schnell" getestet. Keine große Sache und in 5 Minuten erledigt.

Also:
1. DEBIAN 13 ISO besorgen und auf den Proxmox laden
2. Eine VM für für Debian anlegen, das ISO einbinden, VM starten
3. Den Installer starten, empfehle Textversion des Installers, und bei der Paketauswahl die Grafik weglassen, evtl. SSH installieren.
4. Dann als Root anmelden und die Anleitung eevc für Linux abarbeiten (alle Eingaben OHNE SUDO und bei CURL kein -E und kein SUDO)

Mit Stand heute (08.11.2025) sind das nachfolgende Befehle (lt. Anleitung evcc):

apt install -y debian-keyring debian-archive-keyring apt-transport-https curl
curl -1sLf https://dl.evcc.io/public/evcc/stable/setup.deb.sh | bash
apt update
apt install -y evcc

Dienst starten:
systemctl start evcc

Mit Browser auf der Weboberfläche (http://deine-ip-adresse:7070) das Passwort setzen,

den Dienst stoppen
systemctl stop evcc

und die evcc.yaml erstellen mit
evcc configure

dann nach /etc verschieben:
mv evcc.yaml /etc

oder alternativ eine bestehende evcc.yaml Datei in die VM hochladen und nach /etc zurücksichern

den Dienst wieder starten:
systemctl start evcc

Die VM herunterfahren, und in Proxmox ein Backup anlegen (!)

Dann hast du ein sauberes, wartbares Debian-basierendes System, das zum einen sehr gut aktualisieren kannst und keine systemseitigen Abhängigkeiten wie ein Container hat. Von Ubuntu würde ich aufgrund der ständigen Änderungen von Version zu Version die Finger lassen! Das Handling ist auch nicht leichter und Debian die Mutter aller seiner "Kinder" - wenn auch nicht immer ganz so frisch.

Und wenn es dann noch Cockpit sein soll - dann halt rein damit
apt install cockpit

Weil bei evcc oft Updates kommen und die Updatefunktion im evcc-Armbian-Cockpit sehr praktisch war und schnell ging. Ich brauche aber auch ein Windows-Programm und deshalb habe ich auf Proxmox gewechselt.

Bei der Debian VM ist das evcc-Repo eingebunden. Wenn es also Updates gibt, werden diese beim aktualisieren von Debian ebenfalls eingespielt.
Also auf der Konsole apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade
auch keine große Sache....
