Hello,
I hope there is some rescue possible... I think I am toast.
Some time ago, I set a "strong" password on my PVE host. Tested it with GUI, all good.
Today, I thought trying out some SDN stuff, created simple VLAN with Vnet and Subnet, didn't remotely imagine it would break something...
It did, I can't reach the GUI any more. No SSH, no GUI, nothing.
All I am left with is IPMI...
And to find out that in IPMI, my keyboard seems to be bonked. Meaning... I have no colon, whether my keyboard nor the on-screen keyboard, none output what I need, there is apparently something wrong with the locale.
So, can't login... all I can think of is basically inserting the ISO... is there any help to get into my current configuration and fix the friggin network. Not sure if that would even help, since I did "something" with SDN. Btw, been using VLAN SDN for a while now, configured for simple VLAN11, VLAN13...

I am also seeing something on the IPMI, not sure what to make of that...

You can do this: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Root_Password_Reset

You can also undo anything related to SDN in /etc/network/ location.

Any locale should have a colon , you can just try all on-screen keys in user field first, so you can see what is being printed. Obviously try variations with shift/alt/etc

Good luck
