We're planning to upgrade the PMG from version 8.2.5 to 9.0 with the in-place method, so I was wondering what your experience was with the upgrade?
WARN: Not upgraded but core services still active. Consider stopping and masking them for the upgrade:
postfix
pmg-smtp-filter
pmgpolicy
pmgdaemon
pmgproxy

In theory there is no safe way to upgrade if you don't remember what you did on a system. But I'd say that most changes should be preserved if you upgrade in place and carefully compare the configuration changes the upgrade process asks you about.We have implemented several modifications to enhance spam detection, most of which were inspired by discussions on this forum. I’m concerned that I might lose these changes, as I no longer remember exactly what I did.)
