Description:
I am running Proxmox Backup Server 4.0.14 and noticed that in the Permissions section of the web interface the “Remove” button does not work anymore.
Steps to reproduce:
Expected result:
The selected permission should be removed (or at least a confirmation popup should appear).
Actual result:
Clicking the button has no effect.
Additional notes:
Can anyone confirm if this is a known bug in PBS 4.0.14 or if I am missing something?
I am running Proxmox Backup Server 4.0.14 and noticed that in the Permissions section of the web interface the “Remove” button does not work anymore.
- This used to work some weeks ago, now clicking the button does nothing (no popup, no action).
- It happens with different browsers (tested with Chrome, Firefox, Edge).
- Browser cache and extensions (adblockers etc.) have already been disabled/cleared, no difference.
- The issue appears both on the root path / and on specific datastores (example: /datastore/NAS1).
- The affected user has the role DatastoreBackup, propagate = yes.
- No obvious errors are shown in the GUI.
Steps to reproduce:
- Go to Permissions → Rights.
- Select an existing permission entry.
- Click the Remove button.
- Nothing happens.
Expected result:
The selected permission should be removed (or at least a confirmation popup should appear).
Actual result:
Clicking the button has no effect.
Additional notes:
- The same issue also occurs in Administration → Reboot: clicking the reboot button does nothing.
- The system was not recently changed except for regular updates.
- No errors in /var/log/syslog or journalctl -u pbsproxy when clicking the button.
Can anyone confirm if this is a known bug in PBS 4.0.14 or if I am missing something?
