So when I find a message in the logs that showed it was accepted/sent to the recipient, but it was actually spam, how can (in the webGUI) I mark said message as actually spam for PMG to learn from it? I'm not yet finding a way to do that (via webGUI).

PMG does use Bayes learning (we changed the enabled auto-learning to deing disabled by default, as it usually cause more false-positives)
additionally once a mail leaves PMG it is gone.

If you want to use bayes learning- you can manually configure SpamAssassin to do so (but in my experience this is not worth the effort - on average makes things worse)

I hope this helps!

I don't see how that gives me what I was speaking to at all. I'm talking about going back through message log history, which clearly exists in PMG, and marking said content as "actually spam" (or equivalent) so that future spam analysis can be more accurate. This is more of a manual influence than an automatic-only one.

That's not possible, because message doesn't exists on PMG after delivering to mailserver. So nothing to scan/learn again.

I think he simply means that you can blacklist the sender or the domain, for example.

Yup. The fact that it still has history and markers indicates there still is information in PMG to process, even if it isn't the full E-Mail message itself.
